Spontaneous visit to my childhood

I was driving home from my brother’s place in Kellyville on the weekend and happened to go past my childhood home. 5 acres of gum trees & grass where we kept horses, dogs & occasionally had the odd chicken, cow or sheep come to visit from the adjoining properties. This was the most amazing place to grow up. It was bitter sweet seeing it without our house, but there were traces of our past still lying around as if it were yesterday.

Here’s a link of what it looked like in its hayday: Our childhood property

Chelsea’s a city girl. Not too keen on ducks.

A great pond to run around. Or just sit & feed ducks. Bella Vista Waters.

The slippery slide that was on our cubby house. Santa built it for us when we were kids.
